Niko Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 First a big thanks to Tarmac for the springs, and awesome service as usuall . I've had the springs on now for almost a week. Fitting them was not as hard as I thought it would be see this thread for fitting guide / details (newbie friendly) viewtopic.php?f=35&t=64939&p=933764#p933764 After driving around on all sorts of different roads, the ride is slightly stiffer but still comfortable. The body rolls much less and corners pretty flat through the bends. It's lowered the car by 1-2 inches all round. As for speed bumps YES it does scrape its belly on some of them but not all, tends to be the usual suspects! The traffic pillows mostly! you just have to adjust your driving style and not go over them at light speed lol. Overall I'm very happy with the springs and the overall look of the car now. Just need to get rid of those silly balloon tyres ;-) Here it is lowed Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Sweet I currently have three sets of these left, Usual price is £175, forum members can have them for £150 delivered Quote
JoshThePonce Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 What mm drop are they meant to be? Looks lower than eibachs Quote
Brg jay Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Looks awesome! Yes you need thinner tyres ;-) Quote
trackpig Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 If that was my car, I would think its too low. lower profile tyres will help the look of things but your dampers may well be taking a pounding. Quote
Brg jay Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 They can never be too low ;-) Perfect, lol Quote
