sl114 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Well why not get a thread up of your wonderful axes! Currently i only have the PRS and an electro acoustic Ovation celebrity Deluxe as I sold the telecaster, Les Paul and my custom Strat. However I find the PRS does everything that I need it to do, and more, and the Ovation is just lovely. I also had a 12 string Martin acoustic that I sold as I never used it, apart from one recording on my old bands album. I was in a band called Surface74, we did 2 demos and 1 album which was available through Virgin Megastore, we did a lot of university gigs and appeared on MTV’s TRL in the UK. Here are the pics that I have of the guitars… Me on TRL What have you got? Are you in a band, what were they called? Have you any footage from the band, MP3’s etc??? Quote
Removed Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 eheh good thread, come out you closet rockstars (Digsy??? ) Quote
sl114 Posted March 8, 2007 Author Posted March 8, 2007 I will get a video of the performance tonight too. Quote
Digsy Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Just some very bad pics of one of our Zanzibar gigs last year. I'm playing my Thunderbird and then swap over to play my mate's Gibson SG which used to belong to Dreamhire and was played by the Stereophonics (or so he tells us at every opportunity ). Quote
Kev946 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Never made it to performing, apart from a few Classical Sessions at the Guitar School when I was a kid. Once the Strat has gone I will only have my hand built Spanish Classical Guitar and daughter Squire. The squire would you believe is lovely to play although not the best sounding guitar. Must get a shot of the Spanish. Quote
sl114 Posted March 8, 2007 Author Posted March 8, 2007 Cool shots Digsy, i have a few band shots that i will get up tonight and maybe try to get some audio up aswell. Kev, get the spanish up, i love classical guitars. Quote
Kev946 Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Here's my Classical Spanish Guitar. Handbuilt in Spain not surprisingly. Beautiful mellow sound, lovely dark wood back body and lightwood neck, withh usual rosewood fretboard. Quote
