Passenger window ghost

Hiya folks

 

Having a intermittent issue with passenger window, if I open the door window will drop as it should, close up after door closes but then drop down to a third open

 

It also does this if you open/close it from the inside on the button.. You have to hold the window button up for around ten seconds to get it to stay up

 

Has Anyone come across this before or know of a solution for it

Have a go at the window reset procedure

Just need to be reset. I'd say.

I sometimes see the ghost of doogyrev when I touch his knob

I had a simular issue, I had to remove the window motor and clean up the commutator that was coated in silicon type grease, refit and then the reset procedure. I used petrol and fine abrasive paper (1000 grade)...problem solved.
