I'm not a JC fan particularly, (not that old honest), but watched the JC Biography Film "Walk The Line" tonight and it reminded me of the moving video he shot shortly before he died of the Nine Inch Nails cover "Hurt".

I watched walk the line too at the weekend. thought it was great even though before hand I knew nothing about him apart from 'ring of fire'

I think he and his music are much underrated over here. It seems fashionable to put down anything C&W but there are some great songwriters and singers in that genre.

 

I like lots of music from Rachmaninov through to Status Quo, but JC (and DP) are well up the top of the list!

I agree with JOhn, he is a great great singer/songwriter and i had his greatest hits on in the car the other night.

 

My step dad did an interview with him a few years before he died and said he was such a great and honest man.

Was quite into the man in black for a only couple of years before he pass away.

The video is on the album released about six month after his death.

 

Remember reading a book on him and about what happened after his wife died, most believe that what got him in the end.

 

Sadly missed, but boy he knew how to live.
