Fuel level error when doing snowy donuts.... :o)

Hi all, I was doing donuts in the snow in the carpark at work as you do and an orange light caught my eye, I looked down and I am on totally empty and as I looked at the DTE guage it went from 10kms to 0 I could not believe I hadn't noticed the level drop that low without filling up. Sweated all morning worrying whether I was going to make the petty station at lunch... got in at lunch and it was back upto a 1/4 !! I think I was doing anti clockwise donuts mostly guess the guage is on the right-hand side of the tank !!

Haha messes up the sensor thats all, just needs to recalculate

i daren't take my zed out at all in the snow. WIll get way too dirty and ive only had it a short time and i wouldnt trust myself.

 

However wont stop me when there isnt snow

did you notice if you drift it enough with the traction control off you have to re start the car to get it back on.

Yeah I've had that too. The fuel guage is quite un accurate any way

I took the car to a car park one night and did some donuts. I noticed that it wouldn't go on again. Odd.....

 

Didn't notice anything happening to the fuel guage though!

Yeah, and the "slip detected" light on the dash stays on when you stand still...
