Removing mirrored door pillars

What covers the door pillars normally, I need to remove some aftermarket mirrored stick-ons and I don't want to damage the original finish, I know some cars use a black vinyl wrap for this area.

They are just plain black. Send RTBiscuit a PM and he can supply wrap I think. Most people have black or Carbon Fibre wrap

Thanks for your input. What is the pillar covered with as standard, is what I really wanted to know- just so I know how hard I can pull on these aftermarket covers.
