UPREV

L4V15

Recommended Posts

Hello there. I've had a little search but cant find any decent info. Could somebody please explain to me exactly what an UpRev is? Some sort of remap I'm guessing. Could you also outline any pros and cons, where its available, power increases and prices etc? Any info would be helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Uprev is a system that allows tuners to remap the standard ECU.

What you get with a Horsham Developments Uprev remap:

Increased throttle response - no restrictions or delays in the lower gears

Better fuelling resulting in more power and often better fuel economy

Modified ignition map - optimised for for your car

Top speed limits removed

On some cars it is also possible to have multi-maps - this allows different rev and speed limits as well as different fuel and ignition maps. Map switching is done using the cruise control switches and can be done while the engine is running. We can setup a valet mode limiting engine rpm and the cars top speed free of charge.

We charge £399.99 inc VAT for a remap at Surrey Rolling Road. We've got a few customer cars with mods and power graphs here: https://www.facebook.com/media/albums/?id=180058090830

Any questions, just ask :)

  • 3 weeks later...

Uprev is a remap , the people that developed the remap system are called Uprev.

Re maximum speed I dont know anyone that has hit the speed limiter with a N/A 350Z. But we do raise the speed limiter when we remap.

But I would say the car's will do approx 145/150mph with a long enough run way.

After Mark removed the 155mph limit I managed 165mph in Germany, still had more to give but I bottled it due to the road surface becoming increasingly undulated. Had the autobahn been smoother I'm guessing a number in the 170's
