Chris`I Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Short answer is yes - depending on what actual engine you mean. Will require a fair amount of work if you want to run an HR engine though. Quote

Lexx Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 what sort of thing have to be changed is it just auxilleries or and gearbox Full wiring loom, ECU and BCM IIRC Quote
Chris`I Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Was covered recently if you do a search. I think it was quoted as engine, aux bits, gearbox, flywheel and loom. Might have been more though. Not an easy or cheap job by any means. Abbey M/S, ZMANALEX and R35LEE will all be able to help you out Has your engine gone pop? Quote
planetsurfer2 Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Abbey is currently putting an HR engine in my 2006 GT. It needs a new ECU, wiring loom, aircon pipes (about £500), radiator, fan, expansion tank. Cost wise it's better just to get the same engine. I think my final bill for engine (From ZMANALEX) + fitting will be between £5-6000. I'm going F.I. so I justify it to a degree (I keep repeating this to myself) Quote
