scobie140 Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 ECU light came on last night Got the code check with a obd2 reader and its coming up as a P1167 (Heated O2 Sensor 2) Reset the ECU and the light as stayed off for now. Guessing I'll need a new sensor but is their anything else worth checking that could throw this error up? Am i right in guessing by sensor 2 its the post cat O2 sensor? if so how do i know which one? Thanks for help guys, I'll be for the price of a sensor since in my experiance thats usually whats wrong. Quote

narcotix Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 I had the same error code last year when it snowed really bad ... I just reset the CEL a few times and it just stopped soming up once the weather got warmer ... Quote
scobie140 Posted October 15, 2011 Author Posted October 15, 2011 I reset it at the start of the week and it hasn't come back on,so can't be totally nakred. Getting the two sensors from Alex anyway so if it does come on i'll just swap them over. Too much sensors on modern cars! Quote
spursmaddave Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Do you have standard exhaust and cats? Quote
scobie140 Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 Yeh only mod is the jwt induction kit, light still hasn't came back on and been working overtime so not fitted the new sensors either. could have been a false alarm. Quote
