lrh Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Why wouldn't the DVLA go by the year and month as that info is available? Maybe they are the people to phone up and ask? When it was re-imported the DVLA wouldn't know/care/check if it was previously registered here and what plate it was on before. Whoever registered it probably could have provided evidence to get it put back on a 53 but obviously wasn't that bothered. Quote
HaydnH Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 I wouldn't worry about the bonnet/bumper shutline though, a lot of 350Z's have a reasonable (or unreasonable!) gap there, it's quite prone to moving a bit after meeting with kerbs. This can be easily sorted by rotating the 2 round rubber things under the bonnet assuming the hinges are aligned properly. Quote
