Daryl Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Well yesterday i spent the entire day making an E92 M3 very pretty indeed. Was the first time id properly used the DA,and must say, although it didnt save any time, the results are so much better. I only used a grey 3M waffley polishing pad (as its nice and soft) but have to say, that it did what id hoped it to do. Most of the car was gone over with just SRP,but a few deep scratches were tended to with some Fast Cut+,and although not removed, were made less obvious. Black wheels are pig to make look shiney! Here are a few photo's. Quote
Sarnie Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 Before photo's? You're so picky!! Without before photo's, I might as well be looking at an autotrader advert Quote
andylb Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 For those detailing noobs amongst us (Me), could you explain what DA and SRP are? Quote
Daryl Posted August 17, 2011 Author Posted August 17, 2011 For those detailing noobs amongst us (Me), could you explain what DA and SRP are? Sorry about no before photo's,but it was in a pretty bad way. Despite knowing me for 5 years now,he still takes his cars to the local quick car wash occasionally. The TT Cabby his wife has is in a bad state,so il get some before and afters when i do that. SRP is Super Resin Polish,by Auto Glym, and DA is Dual Action polisher. Quote
bronzee Posted August 18, 2011 Posted August 18, 2011 Very shiny. Always interested in the before shots too. Quote
Daryl Posted August 18, 2011 Author Posted August 18, 2011 Car suits black wheels shock! Im trying to convince him to get the kidney grills and wing vents replaced by blacks ones,as i think it would look awesome with the black wheels. Quote
