Front Bumper Lower Trim

Hi guys,

 

The lower front bumper trim on my zed is starting to sag a bit and it looks tatty. It's the black strip of trim that runs along the middle bottom bit of the bumper. Is it something that can be removed - is it necessary/part of the undertray? I haven't managed to take a look underneath to see how it is attached!

 

Or does anyone know where I can buy a new one?

It can indeed be removed.

 

If you want a replacement however

I noticed that some cars have it some don't. Do people tend to remove theirs? Or was it something optional when the car was new?

I remember when I first joined the forum I had the same question; after reading the previously posted topic shown below I decided to remove my trim altogether and now I think she looks much better

I think the trim came as standard (but unfitted) with UK cars ......... seems like the dealers couldn't be @ssed to fit them LOL ... my 2004 didn't have the trim
