weewizard Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 You probs wouldnt need to luck as the car would go above and beyond to its max speed. as for connection im not sure. Quote
DJ Dunk Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 So if *ahem* theoretically, my car went 120mph, then its not limited ? Would still like to know where the box of tricks is. Quote
lomoto Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 So if *ahem* theoretically, my car went 120mph, then its not limited ? Would still like to know where the box of tricks is. mine did go to 120mph then cut out , but you'll find with speedo error thats 112mph in real terms. try 125 mph . box of tricks lives next to ECU in passenger footwell on L/H side Quote
DJ Dunk Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Hmmm, guess I need to head off to the airstrip again So the ECU is under the carpet I guess? Quote
lomoto Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Hmmm, guess I need to head off to the airstrip again So the ECU is under the carpet I guess? get your head in the footwell and look up to L/H side you should see ECU..if it has the HKS box you will defo see it Quote
jim Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 The price quoted by TDI seems a bit steep. I thought that this installation was something that most of us could manage ourselves, and I remember seeing the unit being sold on eBay for around £150 recently. Quote
