George Dredd Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 would it be crap? Or is it a bargain? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/F1-STAGE-1-CLUTCH ... 230ad46f41 Quote
Blacky Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 That's bloody cheap apart from carriage etc, which is a bit suspect Quote
George Dredd Posted April 19, 2011 Author Posted April 19, 2011 I know what you mean but they have a 88000+ star seller rating. Quote
introspect Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Don't forget to factor in the cost of import taxes and VAT on top of delivery. As elfman said, best to Quote
George Dredd Posted April 19, 2011 Author Posted April 19, 2011 Well this one comes with a lightened flywheel too, which is another 300 quid over here, or have I got it all wrong? Quote
Blacky Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 It might be worth heading over to my350z.com and doing a search. Beware if you post something, have your flame suit ready. Quote
was8v Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 adding postage, then import duty and then VAT will bring it to more like £400. Still cheap but a bit of a risk - would be a massive faff to send back if anything was wrong / missing. Quote
M13KYF Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 I would buy from someone I know and trust. If this item is crap then you'll have little comeback. I would ask the traders here Quote
MGM Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 I wouldn't, having had one of their stage 2 clutches on my Integra for a grand total of 6 weeks. The pressure plate is sub-standard. Caused the clutch to slip constantly at high revs. Unless you're upping power significantly, OEM or Exedy..... Quote
elfman Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 i remember when Dene8 bought his zed it had a stage 2 clutch on and that was silly heavy, loud as hell to. Quote
MGM Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 the guy that fitted it suggested that the springs in the pressure plate were too weak so it wasn't engaging properly. there was no issue with the clutch itself, to be honest there was little visible difference between that and OEM material. Quote
