370nel Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 My 370 is booked in tomorrow for a Upgrage Exhaust at Blue flame in Skelmersdale, I have asked for a rear silencer delete only , strait through short tail pipes fitted , Has anyone esle done this mod? Is there real performace gains going for a full cat back system "Without a Remap"? as this is my other option Blue flame have done a couple of Subaru exhausts for me in the past and they were great, and they come in much cheaper than the likes of Miltek ect ect Quote
Chris`I Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 The main benefit of getting a cat back system is removing the bottleneck of the OEM Y-pipe. With a more freeflowing one you should see some good gains, maximised with a remap. Dont know anyone else whos had a straight through, be interesting to see what its like. Dont think the rear box is much of a restriction though. Quote
