New Z Owner (nearly) servicing question

OK – So I have put a deposit down on my Z, all going well with the motorbike sale tonight and I should have a black 07 313 GT Sat Nav on Wednesday!

 

Tell you what though – one thing concerned me. Bit late now but I thought I would just check it out with some knowledgeable people on here.

 

The servicing is supposed to go P1>P2>P1>P3 and repeat. I get that. However, the Nissan dealer told me the Z has had P1>P2>LV1.

 

I have found some info on here about LV1/2/3 services, but wondered if they should be avoided? They do less work than the P services – so should I be concerned and continue with Ps? Or should I carry on with LVs as it’s fine?

Not familiar with these LV? services, but it could just be a mistake by Nissan - wouldn't be the first time! Just make sure the next is a P3, and for peace of mind I'd go with a specialist independant recommended from here.

As has been said before, carry out a P3 when the next service is due.

 

I have been informed on a couple of occasions that Lockwood & Greenwood are a reputable independent who are based in Manchester. I believe a couple of members have used them before.

An L1, L2, L3 are just P1, P2, P3's for slightly older Z's. Nothing to worry about.

P1 is only really an oil change anyway p2 is an oil change with a few checks and p3 is about teh same as a P2 but you pay more for it
