Any tampering with the phone in a way that alters it's original state as it was supplied will void the warranty, this includes unlocking via jailbreak (which is what greenp0ison does)

i have returned my iphones under warrenty several times ..

If i have problems i resyore the phone before i take it back its simplae

It is also not illegal to jailbreak your phone now geohot won the lawsuit against apple. !!!!

honestly you cant go wrong mate

Yeah no probs bullet

But theres not much that can go wrong but like you said if you turn up to the store with anything to do with jailbreak its a big no no..

Thats why i always restored mine before returning it for warrenty replacement

I did some reading though in regards to the lawsuit that Apple filed against George Hotz (geohot) and found that although the judge ruled in favour of geohot, this ruling was passed under US law and it does not apply to the laws in the UK.

Apple are still protected under the copyright infringement act of 1988, although it has been also mentioned that a judge would probably be in favour of the individual that had jailbroken their phone, even if such a precedent has not been set yet within the UK

I've had jailbroken iphones replaced under warranty.

Cant you just go into the Apple store and they do it for you now?

you mean they will jailbreak it for you???

Im going to say NO on that one lol

No they will unlock it for you to all networks, they did this for free once the iphone came available on all networks, you could take your O2 iphone and get it unlocked.

just spoke to apple and they were about as much use as an ejector seat in a helicopter

On a side note, military helicopters do have ejector seats, it fires the rotor blades outwards and then fires the ejector seat upwards ;)

(according to 007 Goldeneye anyways, lol)

To which network is your Iphone is locked whether to Orange or T-mobile? Use remote unlocking service to unlock your Iphone 4. You should also provide IMEI number and country to get the code. Buy the service from the site <link removed> ,and unlock it by yourself using simple step by step unlocking instructions.

Is that a legitimate website? I cant check from work. The Team do no condone links to illegal websites/services, so link removed for now.
