LONG LIFE EXHAUSTS

Hi all,

 

Anyone had a exhaust fitted from LONGLIFE? Just wondering as I fancy having one made for my Z.

 

Would I require a re-map or not? and can I re-map to increase bhp anyway? advice much appreciated regards Rich

Not come across them before but you wouldn't need a remap just cos you are putting a new zorst on. If your going for a remap you are best to get a new y-pipe and a plenum spacer too

Is LongLife similar or the same as custom made exhaust from PowerFlow? As in you pick your boxes and end tips and such?

Go for the heart shaped tailpipes, I dare ya

Hi there I have just had a custom made exhaust fitted to my Z. I had it done at Infinity Exhausts in Bristol. They are just off of Junction 18 of the M4. I had it done early last Saturday morning. It took around 3 hours to do and I must say i'm very happy with it. I went for a slightly louder than standard sound and paid £420 all in. The car pulls wonderfully again now, not surprising as the old exhaust had completely rotted through between the centre section and backbox. I thought it only had a small hole in it but he just pulled it apart as soon as it was on the ramp. Explains my average MPG of 16. They have just moved to this new place and are in the middle of sorting out the waiting room etc but I would recommend them highly.
