Key fob won't unlock door

My 350z key fobs won't unlock or lock my doors , I can lock and unlock the car with the key but when I unlock the door as soon as I open the door the alarm goes off until I start the car . I suppose it could be the battery's in the key fob but think it unlikely as happened to both keys at the same time . If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful don't fancy takin car to a dealer

I had this on my RX8.........some how both fobs lost their coding at the same time and had to go back to dealers for a re-coding.

Iv had similar things happen with other cars( both french models)and had to have the key recoded at the stealers.

Guides section has a bit about reprogramming mate. Try that and new battery before going near a dealer.

 

Is it detecting key at all as sometimes the locks can freeze up in cold weather.

Thanks for the help il change both the Fob batterys tomorrow and try to reprogram using the info in the Guide section
