Followed an earlier thread turned car over ( was planning on 20 seconds ) fired up just before assume it was flooded , I couldn't make my mind up if to floor accelerator or not ? .I'm going to kept battery as it turns over much faster , and a few times recently the car hasn't started on the first turn as it always has done . Thanks for all the help

It's not the battery turns over better but doesn't fire !!

I came home last Monday turned car and lights off got out of car and side lights came back on , tried a few times but would not turn off . In the end disconnected battery lead . Same next day had a but of a poke around looking at earth point etc nothing found but ok the rest of just week . Posted a question on here and had a reply saying another member had this fault just prior to his battery packing in .

I've just finished working on car and had the front end jacked up ( it was jacked up overnight). Tried to start car will turn over but not fire , all I've done is change the banana arm and front discs . On a previous car (ford) there was a fuel cut off switch which used to activate if car jacked up for any length of time . does anyone know if a 350 z has one ??? It could just be the battery as I had a strange episode with the lights last week ,but car turns over ok .

No haven't had any problems with the battery up to now although I'm open to any suggestions .

I've got home tonight , turned lights off then ignition removed key about 10 seconds later my side lights front and rear come on and stay on . Tried a few variations of turning off but still the same side lights on! It's pretty wet and water and electrics don't Mix but any suggestions . I've had to disconnect the battery overnight . Car is an 04 plate 350Z

This sounds like the problem I have with my 04 Plate 350 Z . Ive just taken it for an MOT at my local garage who have done my MOT's for years .The car passed all the checks but noticed the knock on the road test , they put it back on the ramp and after 20 mins of checking with crow bar etc couldnt find any play of obvious fault .Even though they couldnt find a fault they wont pass the MOT . Is it likly to be the ball joint on the bannana arm rather than the Bush on the other end ( which I know can be changed ) . If I need a bannana arm where is the best place to get one ( best price ) Thanks Peter

I was just clutching at straws with the fuse , the fuse box's dont list a Headlight fuse so either there isnt one or its one of the many not listed . i'm resigned to the fact its the ballast so any suggestions of where i can get get a cheaper one than from the thieves that are nissan dealers!!!!!!!!!

Ive changed the Driverside bulb in my headlight ( stupidly expensive if you by from a dealer , which i didnt) but the light still doesnt work . Ive been quoted 500 quid from nissan for a new ''control unit/ starter'' which plugs into the back of the bulb but i really dont want to have to pay it any other suggestions as to what it could be , i doubt id be so lucky for it to be a fuse but does anyone know if there is a fuse and which one it could be ?

My drivers side headlight bulb has gone any ideas on the best way to change it Please !!!

Thanks for the help il change both the Fob batterys tomorrow and try to reprogram using the info in the Guide section

My 350z key fobs won't unlock or lock my doors , I can lock and unlock the car with the key but when I unlock the door as soon as I open the door the alarm goes off until I start the car . I suppose it could be the battery's in the key fob but think it unlikely as happened to both keys at the same time . If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful don't fancy takin car to a dealer

The drivers window on my 04 plate z coupe (which I've owned for 5 days) has developed a mind of is own . If I operate the switch it goes up/down and stops wherever it wants. I managed to get it up and stopped using it but it drops every now and again when I shut the door and now I can't get it to operate at all . Any ideas please
