I'm looking at buying a Wii this Christmas for the girlfriend and kids, possibly this one:

I guess I'll need an extra controller - but seeing as I've never used one before, what is the difference between a remote and a nunchuk? Do I need to buy both for 2 player stuff? :bangin:

you use the remote for most things as thats the main controller, the nunchuck is plugged into the remote for some games to give you two handed action :) so although you dont need a nunchuck i'd get hold of one

haha must have too much time on his hands

I'm now thinking of the Wii sports and Wii sports resort with motion plus controller, so I think that means I'd need a second remote with the motion plus too (or Wii remote plus which has it built in?)...

I may have got my head around this by Christmas!

MarioKart's awesome, many people on here still play it? If so anyone fancy some 350Z-UK online Mario races?!

yeah i'd be up for a race, but don't get on very often
