Getting new clutch fitted tomorrow with the help off Zmanalex providing then im off to Abbey on Monday at 09.00 to get the uprev done looking forward to seeing my results after everything is done. If its as good as everyone says then it will all be worth the money im spending.

 

Please feel free to comment on your uprev and what to expect.

They do have a slot in the afternoon mate. Can always phone in sick or take a holiday nice drive up then lunch on way back

my car should be ready for the uprev early next year cant wait either. What mods are you running?

Exhaust and pop charger at the minute. New clutch provided by alex and I can notice a huge improvement with it as well. I'm not expecting massive gains just the usual in the lower gears will make me very happy

Gaz, did you get the Exedy Clutch and Fidanza flywheel? I got them from Alex in the summer and wow what a difference in feel and performance! Very jealous of you getting a remap I'm getting mine done in Jan

Yeah I did Dave very please with new clutch and flywheel £600 well spent can't wait to get to abbey on Monday booked in for 9 so hopefully coming away with massive smile on my face at lunch time

24hrs to go ad then will be coming out of Abbey with a huge smile on my face hopefully. And then have a nice 2 hour drive back can't wait

Is excellent mate well worth the money. Recommend it to anyone better MPG feels alot better in every gear and feels like a whole new car as well. Get it done mate you will not look back

what was the total bill mate incl the spacer you had fitted.?

Total was £690 mate worth every penny off it. Wish I had off got it done straight away. But at least I know how it was before I had the work done.

Lots of tosh spoken on here about wasting time modding the na z,had my spacer,uprev,art de-cats,race cat & motordyne y done with abbey,only made an extra 25bhp but its like driving a different car,mid range is much better & the first 3 gears are great now,ave a couple of miles a gallon better too.

I was averaging about 20 and it's gone up till about 22 depending on driving of course. Get it done bob you won't be disappointed mate
