front are 8.5" and rear are 9.5"

now what would be the best size tyres for the fronts + rears?

would i be alright with 235/30 fronts and 265/30 rears?

so you need new tyres for the car and your going to upgrade to new 19" wheels?? or have you already got the 19's?

I have 245/35/19 and 275/35/19. That's what nismo spec'd for the nismo rims I'm sure. I may stand corrected though.

You will be stretching the tyre and also could have some tcs issues.

Why are you wanting to go thinner?

The oem wheel is 8.5 on rear and has a 245. So in reality your talking about putting oem front tyre widths on a 19" rim which is wider. Gonna look like skinny bike wheels.

Neilp you are absolutely correct

-0.85% difference at the front

-0.38% difference at the rear

you can't get much closer than that ! :teeth:

for a normal look on a 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 you want 235-35 and 265-35

allthough im running 19x8.5 n 19x9.5 with 225-35 and 245-35 as i like the strech look and need the clearence with my offset. Had no TCS issues at all with this set up. ;)

I dnt know why people stretch there Tyres. All it does is make the car handle terrible.

Taddy the correct size for a 8.5 rim is 245/35/19.

Even the standard 18x8.5 comes with a 245
