Ah yeah, I wouldn't start putting my own safety on the line for any mech work.. Um, what about asking a local garage if you can use their workshop for 20 mins while you do what you do? Visit your local friendly garage and offer them beer token if they use the press/vice for you. Take em 2 minutes and they'll make a tenner.
