JDM v UK exhaust

Ive bought a mint jdm exhaust,though my uk system seems ok scott at abbey said at some point it will need a changing,my 2 questions are will the jdm fit & whats the diff in sound,i like the uk sound but i read its much quieter,any help much app.

The jdm will fit but I wouldn't fit it to a uk, there practically silent and make the car sound like a normal 4 cylinder IMO, if you need a new exhaust then pm zmanalex or get yourself a decent stainless aftermarket one like a japspeed k2 or a scorpion which are close to stock sound for not alot of money

Having moved from a UK Zed to a JDM Zed its the one thing I miss. The JDM exhaust is far to quiet for my liking.

Thanks for the help,wil keep my uk one on,its fine at the moment & when i have to change it i will get a one off a uk breaker,scorps sound ok but imo both are louder than stock,thanks again.

i promised my uk one to a member on here for free,im going to offer him the jdm but for what i paid £50,if he turns it down & your intrested at that money i will pm you.it came of wills drift moter,very low miles,good nick just the tips need a polish.

Yes to confirm the JDM is silent compared to a UK rear box... and a straight swap.

I have a full HR exhaust inc y pipe , ment to be a good upgrade for the DE zeds . Pm me a offer if anyone is interested

Keeping my oem,booked in for xyz y,race cat&art de-cats with abbey,out of intrest what sort of money for the hr? how does your moter handle with the bc's?

Not sure on the HR exhaust really.... what do you reckon it would be worth? As for the bc ..... still not on yet I have been saving for holiday and was even thinking of selling the zed, but dont think im going to.

Not sure on the hr,with low miles the back box must be £150 +,cant see the y peice has much value as most would prefer a motordyne or stillen,i saw you were thinking of selling,zed is a money pit but great fun

Ya tell me about it mate! I dont need to sell it but if i am keeping i am going to have to spend alot out in december on tax,insurance,warranty and service but thats just cars really

After my next abbey visit i think thats it on engine,then,get round to the brakes & suspen next year
