Hey guys,

i'm looking to store my car over the winter months in my garage

End of october till march 1st april ( 6 month )

i've got a indoor Carcoon to put it in BUT, just have a few queries before it goes in for the winter.

i'm looking to have a full service on my zed in April when it comes back out.

1, can i leave it in there for the full 6 months with out starting it up ????

2, will it do any damage to my zed if i dont start it ????

3, i'm i best trailering my car to the garage for the service in april ????

4, Any recommended garages in northwest that know what there doing ??????

and anything else you guys can advise would be much appreciated.

cheers

It'll need a trickle charger at the very least, and I'd probably start it and take it for a 10 min drive at least once a month to avoid any issues.

+1

But don't take it for a 10 minute drive when its snowing :lol:

Reguarly leave mine for approx 5 months during the winter. I dont drive it because it is normally sorned during this period. Just has the car cover on and a trickle charger on the battery. It gets the odd start up but thats it. Never had any problems. :)
