USB Key

Does anyone know whether you can plug a USB key loaded with tunes, directly into the console (connect premium)?

 

I'm still having iPhone issues, so this might be a good fix!

Yes you can

 

IIRC the option doesnt show up on CP unless you have the stick in there.

Shame it doesnt use ID3 tags in that top view. It can do it as you can see in the second pic. No idea why they show the file name

I was going to say. USB sticks work well. But that said has anyone been using their USB stick and all of a sudden the system doesn't recognise it? I've had this and taken it out and plugged it back in and it's been fine.

Nipped out of work earlier and got a 16GB Kingston key. Wacked a load of tunes on it and plugged it in and hey presto, works a treat.

Not bad is it It does better than my 350z did, and I reckon its about 70HP up on it

The only issue I really have with the USB key as opposed to an ipod is that it doesn't let you browse to the song you want. As you move your selection it changes to the song that's highlighted which is annoying when you arejust trying to find the next song you want on.
