Exhaust blown?

My zed sounds different and i think the exhaust is blowing I have had a good look in the search section but just need some conformation that this is the case? I have taken a pic of where i think the problem is. its leaking from the flange as well as the welds i think so does this mean i need a new back box?

sounds like the usual problem, it blows out of the flange at the back box and yes it either mean sa replacement or try and patch it.

 

for short term you could gumgum it. not worth a full repair, an alternative is something like the scorpion exhaust at about £350 if i remembe rrightly

Thought as much and i just spent ages getting my tips nice and shiney again! I would go for the scorpion but dont like the sharp edged tips to them. do they come with rolled ones at all like the nissan oem I have on now?

Very cheap 1 on ebay at the mo.

i had the same problem- went for custom back box and tips. not keen on the sharp edges either so i went for oval tips with a rolled edge. 300 all in
