Change-Up Light setting?

Sorry if this has been posted before - I did search but didn't come up with anything!

 

What is a good setting for the change-up light? What do most people use?

depends on what you want to achieve.

 

some use it for mpg so set it low

some use it for peak torque (my preference)

some peak bhp

some for a warning before redline

Ok, I guess I'm interested in when peak power drops off so there is no point in continuing up the rev range.. Only for when I hammer it, most of the time I'll do sensible mpg driving

 

I guess it doesn't really matter that much!

MPG or torque is probably best to use. if you go for redline you ll hardly ever use it. you have to keep your eyes on the road m8. it should have been either higher within sight or beep as well.

So what rpm's are those settings?

 

Each model of the Z should be slightly different no?

It should flash when a K1 without bungs gets to loud so about 2k rpm.

I set mine for the redline but that's purely because I don't want it flashing during normal driving. As Greekman said, it's too small and unnoticeable to be anything other than a bit of a gimmick. Shame, really.

i got carried away and mine went white when i changed the lighting so its basically invisible now
