Gizmo-R Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 ANyone know how to do this? Are they just clips to remove the inside plastic boot panel? Quote
Ebized Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Not exactly sure what item you are referring to but this link may help? http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/rear_speakers/ Otherwise, a search in the guides section might produce what you are looking for Quote
Gizmo-R Posted July 12, 2010 Author Posted July 12, 2010 I've tried search but perhaps not using correct criteria I am referring to when you open the boot, the panels on the boot lid that conceal the rear wiper motor Quote
wizard Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 it's awful, i tried doing it once. let me know if you find a good way of doing it without breaking everything! Quote
Ebized Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 This should help viewtopic.php?f=35&t=17884&hilit=rear+wiper+motor Quote
Madmarky Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Brute force is your friend Martin. Get something in under a corner and lever off. Plastic panel clips at the bottom and metal ones at the top by The window. Not uncommon for clips to break either. If you need a hand let me know. Quote
Gizmo-R Posted July 13, 2010 Author Posted July 13, 2010 Thanks guys only reason I am doing this is that I still get an annoying rattle + the stupid cricket noise and I think I pinned the rattle to the top right corner of the boot (when opened). When I lightly thump it when it is opened near the spoiler area there is a faint rattle of some sort and it it buggin me to death when I am driving! Quote
UNABASHED Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 as said - a bit of faorce and ideally a trim remover tool will help. Even with the tool I snapped at least 50% of the clips Quote
Gizmo-R Posted July 13, 2010 Author Posted July 13, 2010 I have a plastic flat bladed tool which I swiped from Volvo back in the Tracking/Car HF kit install days which I will use! Quote
