Removal of rear boot panel

Are they just clips to remove the inside plastic boot panel?

I've tried search but perhaps not using correct criteria

 

I am referring to when you open the boot, the panels on the boot lid that conceal the rear wiper motor

Brute force is your friend Martin. Get something in under a corner and lever off. Plastic panel clips at the bottom and metal ones at the top by The window. Not uncommon for clips to break either. If you need a hand let me know.

Thanks guys only reason I am doing this is that I still get an annoying rattle + the stupid cricket noise and I think I pinned the rattle to the top right corner of the boot (when opened). When I lightly thump it when it is opened near the spoiler area there is a faint rattle of some sort and it it buggin me to death when I am driving!

as said - a bit of faorce and ideally a trim remover tool will help. Even with the tool I snapped at least 50% of the clips

I have a plastic flat bladed tool which I swiped from Volvo back in the Tracking/Car HF kit install days which I will use!
