michaelrstewart Posted July 12, 2010 Share Posted July 12, 2010 Hi, My 350z failed its MOT last week because of a collapsed rear wheel bearing. I have been quoted £500 for a new one by a Nissan dealership. I would like to know if I can buy a wheel bearing myself and then fit it - as most parts companies I ring, specifically say that it is a dealership part only. michaelrstewart Posted July 12, 2010 Author Share Posted July 12, 2010 Its a 2005. Only got 34,000 miles on the clock! It must be the way I drive it! It also failed on emissions - just a little over (the MOT center suggested it could be the lamda sensor) does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this on the cheap to get it past the MOT??
