wiper arm wont come off

tried to get the winderscreen wipers off as there in need of a refurb took the plastic blanking plate off 14mm nut off ,cant get the bloody wiper arm off am i doing something wrong as ive really tried, sprayed wd40 on it aswell, help please

I cant get the rear wiper blade off either, just gave up in the end. Very irratating!

They are on a spline and taper guys and just need to be at the correct angle to get them off.

 

Get the load off them, give them a wiggle and they should just pop off.

Have you tried a small bearing puller? That will get it off.

wd40 let it soak in a bit little tap with a hammer then a wiggle should free it off

tried the hammer and wd40 still wont budge ill have another go tomorrow

Just have to keep wiggling it. They can be quite hard to get off the spline if they are tight, as Alex says, you need to get the right angle.
