Correct, and when the next government inevitably puts up VAT along with the fuel price escalator and the currency exchange effect of the deficit, it will all be immaterial! :surrender:

I saw this a while ago and although i like his thinking, all oil is traded amongst the providers so would never cause a price war. Unfortunately until another means of fuel is found, accessable and reuseable we are stuck with the high prices of oil/petrol.

+1. What surprises me though is no political party is saying anything about reducing fuel tax or using it as a selling point :thumbdown: They are all the same..not sure why we bother

Because they and we know they would never lower the prices... simples
