amsoil Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 Well had my oil changed yesterday. Took in Castrol GTX Magnatec 5-30. Cost £20 for oil and £49 for the grease monkeys to change it and replace filter. In the back of my mind I wondered if they actually used my oil, or put their cheap 10-40 in and kept mine..the bottle was 4.5L so wasnt any left. anyway of telling? I don't think you will find that GTX is a quality real synthetic. Better than most barrels dealers have though I'm sure. Best treat yourself to a bit of quality next time around, if it must be castrol try Edge, its what they recommend but Motul and Amsoil are better.
