strange smell

Me and the wife just picked up the zed today she drove it home from the garage and i followed on my bike, i noticed a strange smell from it while i was behind like melting plastic.

I had i look in the engine bay and everything looks ok, any ideas?

we have only just met so its a bit too soon

How fast was she going in the Z ? I'm surprised you could keep up on your bike (unless you're a fast peddler)

Did she take it above 1st gear

It may just be wd40 or some other products burning off. If it doesnt go away soon...... take a closer look Is there any smoke or a smell in the cabin?

We travelled over 100 miles to get back home and you could still smell it, you cant smell it in the cabin but if you open the window you can.

If the smell comes from around the offside front wheel arch, noticable when the front driver's window is open, I would say this is normal (based on 2 Zed's I have owned)
