Thinking of getting my OEM alloys refurbed

Was thinking of getting my OEM alloys refurbed as i got run off the road and curbed two of them by a Range Rover Sport. Was thinking of getting them sprayed gloss black? Good idea or bad idea?

depends what colour your car is, are your alloys the rays or not?

I think that painting alloys black can make them look a little lost in the arches, but they do suit white cars well still. how about a time attach stripe around the edge for a bit of colour?

I have rays that I steadily curb more and mroe every few months and I will be getting them refurbed but in a more pearlesant gunmetal colour I think.

I was thinking about getting a new set of alloys but after researching it's gonna cost quite a lot. So that's why i thought about just getting mine refurbed and sprayed.

black wheels on a black car look slightly odd in my opinion, there's always the danger that it will look more like your steelies have lost the hubcaps!

How about looking at a more anthracite type of colour - can get some blue specs in as well so it will catch the light nicely?

a change to the colour of the wheels can make a great differents.

looking at your pic i d say steer clear of black and as already mention go for anthracite.

adding spacers will also make the cars stance change as well :D

:snack: Let me know how you going to go about it.......

Got the same problem ( and wheels ) I tryed to save up but I keep spending money on other mods :bangin:

Another option would be to get some rays for around £400 and refurb them for £220? all in all just over £600
