hmm, i've got the same thing at the moment and guessed it would just be stones (as i used to get this a lot in my last car as well). i haven't checked for stones in mine yet, i'll have a look tomorrow. hopefully not a nail - really can't afford new tyres at the moment! :headhurt:

I had this and it was down to the tyre being nearly flat so the rubber was moving making the tick. They are that low it didn't look flat in the conventional sense.

 

I know it sounds stupid but check your pressures....
