I had it sent off and polished , as the original casting is pretty rough,

 

There is a gasket but it is seperate so can be reused

Looks great mate. Excellent result and the paint on the plastic cover brings all the shiney stuff out well on your engine bay

Looks very good.

I want to get my plenum done as well. How much would it be approximately to get it polished?

And I guess you're not able to drive the car without a plenum, so how long does it take normally?

expensive?

 

a bit expensive ..yes.. but they had to grind back all the rough casting before the polishing process .. cost £60 all in.. but a real mirror finish.. just got to wait until the Kinetix melts and I'll put it on :headhurt:

Do you think so Dorian? I thought it was enough money at that :blush: mind you I do send him quite a bit of other work as well on motorcycle bits
