hood question

A friend of mine has got a TT roadster. i know hairdresser's car but she is a girl....and in love with my zed anyway!

 

She told me today that she found some mould on it!!! now since the obvious answer (bleach) wouldnt help a lot what else could be used to clean it???

AutoGlym do a specialist hood cleaner & conditioner double pack. My neighbour uses it on his M3 and rates it very highly. Might be worth a go?

I got a double pack conditioner and shampoo ragtop cleaner from halfords. Pretty sure its autoglym one as well, very good.

Automotive degreaser would probably remove it too.

When clean and dry use FABSIL to waterproof it, can be bought in camping shops, and its by far better than the autoglym waterproof you get in the 2 pack,

Any household disinfectant should shift it but make sure you put only a tiny amount in a warm bucket of water and be careful!! Try a bit in a corner to ensure you dont bleach it! Audi hoods are Fabric I think so be extra careful - otherwise the normal Autoglym hood kit we all know and love will do it.

Used to use the Turtle Wax shampoo then conditioner for my Roadster. Double bottle kit. Was very good indeed
