BulletMagnet Posted February 25, 2010 Author Share Posted February 25, 2010 thats a Top mod - well spotted mate - there is 1 teeny weeny thing I would suggest though - did you put some extra insulation tape around the cable where it feeds through the bottom of the HU - dont want it chaffing and shorting out again the metal frame - just to be safe Might even tape the cable to the HU so it don't move at all I was just thinking... what will happen if you push the "eject" button? Nothing dramatic happens, because when you hook up the HU back to the wiring loom, it will try to spit the tape out. I kinda anticipated this, thus left the flap in the default position in case it ejects. Very good BM, I was shocked that the Z didnt come with an Ipod port. Never mind, You have a solution!!
