Bargain 2003/53 UK GT, 53k miles, £9K - ** SOLD **

Hi all,

Trading car in this week, been offered £8300, if somebody would like this car then get in touch immediately as it is likely going in tomorrow or wednesday, would prefer it to go to someone on here as opposed to a stealer.

The car does have a few stone chips and needs the wheels refurbed, I've also just dinged the sideskirt since the pistonheads ad, two days ago (typical!!!) but I have a new sideskirt to go on just needs painted.

I was hoping for £10k but found the car I want and need it to go so £9k gets it, otherwise its going to the stealer.

More details on PistonHeads http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1479578.htm

Email me on tim@chocolategrape.co.uk or phone 07595 218 004

Thanks

Just a bit of an update about the sideskirt, local Nissan garage (who are very good) are spraying a replacement for me so the side skirt will be completely fixed. Its getting sprayed over the next couple of days. Been told today by trader thinks the other car (Audi A4 < must be bonkers) is going to be ready on friday, told him I was trying to sell privately and he said he could hold it over the weekend if need be, so that gives me/you a bit more time. Any enquiries give me a shout. Thanks

It might be the one with LED daytime running lights though..the new A4. Think A5 is nicer. Would consider trading the Zed for an A5 or the new 3 series coupe/hard top convertible. :cloud9:

Nope it isn't, its an 05 Avant S-Line 2.0 TFSI, so no running lights :). Kids on the way in the next year or so I reckon, the missus always wanted one, plus getting a good deal. Going to miss the Z though, a lot.

unfortunatly the price of petrol has gone up to a staggering amount and I know most use the Zed's as weekend cars but they are getting expensive to run :scare:

Got some pics of the bad bits (and good bits) today as I think I may be scaring people away by being too honest, its in great condition apart from these bits so please don't be scared :) Getting pressure from the dealer so open to offers, don't let him have it, its too cheap!!!

These pics were taken about 3 hours ago, new skirt sorted by local Nissan Dealer

Thanks

Hi there,

I like the look of the car and it seems to be at a pretty good price.I'm in the market to get one, though I wanted to ask your's...and anyone elses...opinion on the stone chips. Are they easy to put right or is it fairly costly (i.e. respray)?

Cheers

Car is pretty cheap for a GT and should have sold pretty quick.

The cosmetic stuff shouldnt be an issue to sort out at a cost of about £300 from a spray shop for the bumper and bonnet..

Cool, thats not tooooooo far away. Cheers. My eyes clearly aren't working properly as I didn't see that

As a self confessed newb to the Z I'm just a bit apprehensive about committing. I do really like the car though

Edit. Clearly I didn't read "Northumberland" properly and was thinking Northampton...good one Ben!!!! Thats about as far away from me as I can get whilst still staying in England

It would be further if you lived in London..... But it would be a great drive home ;)

Well I'm pretty much in London to be fair, just outside it anyway but its the concept of that journey home that still has me interested!!! 4hour train journey and then a few hours of driving pleasure

I'm trying to sell a very similar age / spec / colour / condition car and I'm struggling for any luck either mate..! Maybe the time of year!

Good luck with the sale, hope it goes soon

I have the same problem with my bumber/bonnet. i have had a quote of £180 (average) to strip, fill, respray each part.

edit* well worth it when the job is complete.

Hi all,

Sorry been away for a few days, car was sold to the dealer on friday for a rediculously low sum that I won't disclose here. I am about to run it along now, will be my last drive in the Z, gutted :(.

Thanks for all the enquiries and with regard to the stone chips I got quoted for a full front end respray (bumper, bonnet and blended to wings) for £480.
