yokomo Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 just the head unit , easy. no funky tools just a little fidley the first time you unclick all the junk. gettng the rest out not so or at least i cant seem to get at the so called amp in the boot. Quote
Danny 350Z Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 I'll tell you next week. Husky and I are changing out my Bose for a Pioneer 4100. Quote
yokomo Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 shouldnt be a problem for someone whos done it before , most people inluding myself tend to find the hardest/least obvious part to be sorting the looms. second time round was much easyer. Quote
Zazur Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 When I took my Bose head unit out and put my Alpine unit in it was no problem and took about 2 hours (I put the bluetooth parrot in at the same time), I also used the amp in the car and it all works ok Go for it Quote
Gibby Posted January 25, 2010 Author Posted January 25, 2010 Thanks guys it the fact that there is no screws or really anything to hold onto to get the unit out? As normally u would have keys or little allen bolt screws! Let us know how you 2 get on then!! Cheers Quote

Husky Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 have you tried splicing a new ground wire and fixing it to a nice clean earth? Quote
Gibby Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 I managed to get it sorted it was just a dodgy earth wire!! So it's all put back together and it's looking good! It's great with the iPhone! Quote
