Bonnet vent painting

Hey, I was wandering if anyone has painted their aftermarket bonnet vents? I am going to do them black to match the vents on the chargespeed bumper. What paint would your recommend, something that wont flake and will withstand engine temp.

if its the mesh your refering to, i'd just change the mesh for something thats already been powder coated.

I would but it's moulded into the bonnet so will need to be painted

standard car paint will withstand the heat, just use a good primer and laquer and it should be fine. if its aluminium use an ally primer.

Just painted them black, they look goooood, should have done it earlier.

That does look much nicer in black...i really llike the orange hose underneath

 

BTW why did you take of the eyebrows? I I thought they flowed well with the bonnet

Cheers, im having my headlights modded so i will fix them properly once its all done. Will look alot better once i get my nice shiney bottles fitted.

Looks much better mate!!

 

Enjoy more polishing when you get the bottles! Found that a final go over with rim wax makes it easier to keep them clean...
