Roadsters and condensation.

Anyone else have problems with windscreen condensation inside a roadster this time of the year, can be a right pain sometimes and im finding it hard to get it totally off unless I wipe it which I dont want , any tips or tricks folks.

Run the heater with the A/C on for a while and it will clear. How long it takes depends on how long its been standing.

Heat and air con? So hot air and push the AC button yes?

yup you even need air con on in the coupe to get a decent de-mist

yeah both at the same time.

 

its air conditioning so it works on both hot and cold. my Van is the same, but both on gets rid pretty quickly.

Strange lol, hot air and air con, why's that then.

The aircon dries the air the heat helps to speed up the process. Mine clears in a few mins

cos the aircon takes away the moisture

I did wonder why my aircon light randomly came on in the colder weather when I turn the heater and fan up.

 

Still always turn it off just because I can imagine it still saps a little power and decreases mpg even when its not having to cool the air??

On these cars there should not be that much difference when the aircon unit is on - the engine has shed loads of torque its not like an aircon unit on a fiesta when you need all the power to keep it falling on its bum!
