Then instead of just following the route notes I trusted the SatNav again - so an hour later I gave up and went home. Gutted and p*ssed off. Here I am at home instead of hooning around Wales.

Oh no sorry to hear that - but I know what you mean about satnav it can takea simple taks and take you on a wild goose chase - we ended up down a very bumpy forrest track in the Zed this summer in France (not pleasant) (although Lucy still finds it hilarious!)

Should have realised when it was telling me to turn down a road close to home which is a dead end Either that or I'm doing something very very stupid
martinmac Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Is it set on shortest route rather fastest Keith. I had that one and it nearly killed the car in the NE. The road was too narrow to get down and very bumpy.
