Stew Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 I missed the race on Sunday as I was working but just watched the reruns of Sundays racing. All three races were fantastic with Plato driving a stormer! Colin held his own in the final race and got a well deserved title beating the manufacturers. So, well done to Colin for becoming the BTCC champion 2009 All the manufacturers are gone now but with a line up of independents like there was this year, I'm looking forward to another year of proper car racing! Trev-the-Rev Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Supreme effort and a well-deserved win Quote
ZMANALEX Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 I was gonna remind you to record it Stew but it slipped my mind. A well deserved title for Turkington but awesome show from Plato at Brands. Goodbye Vauxhall Quote
JimO Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Aye massive congrats, he done really well and deserved it Quote
Stew Posted October 6, 2009 Author Posted October 6, 2009 All three races are available on ITV online too! http://www.itv.com/Sport/btcc/?intcmp=NAV_SPORT7_BTCC6 After a snooze fest grand prix (for a change! ) and a disappointing motogp the BTCC was a real treat. If you aren't into touring cars take 10 mins to give it a watch. Quote
zxtreme Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 You can't beat the BTCC for wheel to wheel action (most of the time lol). Used to go to just about all the races but started to lose interest when they dropped the super touring class. Went to Snetterton in August and got the bug back so will be making time for some races next year! Could do some form of club meets??? Oh and congrats to Colin - didn't come easy but perseverence pays off! Quote
