Bit before my time but I used to work in Vauxhalls, E. port and they had pictures of them on the walls on the way in to the Factory.

Also had pics of a sporty lookin chevette with flared arches and I think a 3.5 Litre Engine? Always liked the look of that!

Well they don't make them like that anymore. I work with a few people who's dads worked at Eport up the road one of them still has a pristine Velox from the 50s ! Never welded from new... that's a first for a vauxhall over 3 years old!!! although my mk3 cavalier was a good machine !

Oh my god are you kidding? I was stuck behind one of these on Sunday in that exact colour! It was an absolute minter, not a mark on it, and it had a note in the window saying 'Please pass, running in'...!

Had nothing but trouble with the company scheme cars I had (About 10 in total). Always had something go wrong.

Brand new Cav. snapped camshaft woodruff key after only 500 miles. Astra Convertible roof stuck down first day I picked it up. IMO sh*te!

Well like I mentioned in another post there seems to be yet another 70/80's revival on the roads! :)

Funny how a lot of cars in your youth you never really liked until years later ... thats what they call a classic I suppose :bangin:
