Jak Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Right then, as promised here are some pictures from my recent attempt at some more in depth detailing....(for me anyway, usually stopped at a wash and a polish!) Firstly i washed the car using a pressurewasher and my usual autoglym shampoo, then clayed using some megs quick clay with quick detailer, then polished with autoglym super resin polish, then waxed with DoDo Purple Haze (&tyreblacked + Fast Glass etc) Next we have a pic of my Z with a Mini JCW S GP we just took in part ex - SO FUN! Lastly a few night/arty pic attempts....... Enjoy! Jak Quote

Jak Posted September 19, 2009 Author Posted September 19, 2009 Thanks matey, Yeah loving the Purple Haze actually - was a bit put out by the idea of spending £30 on a wax but my god is it worth it!!! Forgot to add these too, was pretty impressed! Jak Quote
Walbertonio Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 That's come up a treat, great work! Quote
dcash5 Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Very impressed with those latter shots. Kudos Automotive (Andy) is now a DODO juicy dealer and doing a few good offers. The red mist Quik detailer is very good also. Quote
Pimm Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 I got purple haze, very easy to use. Great results. Quote
stanski Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Wow looks fab Jak - I do love the colours of Nissan paint the tiny specs , and the tinted topcoats shame they only breath it on our cars instead of putting a decent amount on! My fave pic is the one of the door handle (but thats my photography side comming out! ) Quote
bronzee Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Oooh, nice flake pop. The night shot with the house behind the Z is very appealing. Quote
Gball1973 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Very Jak. Red mist does a fab job too. Quote
