19" tyre sizes - again!

Hi All,

 

Im looking to purchase some 19" wheels - sizes are:

 

19x10.5 +22 and 19x9.5 +22

 

I was going to go for 275/35/19 for tyre size but having read my350z faqs (linked from this site ) they mention anything but 275s! Any views on this - what set-ups are you guys using?

Im pretty sure my wheels are +22 offset, sorry its been a while since i put them on and i decided on 285/30/19 rear and 265/30/19 front. I have volk sf challenge 9.5 front and 10.5 rear. They are perfect size. No problems with traction control and no need to roll fenders . I use Toyo T1-Rs's

Thats really useful Planning on Falcons myself - although RE50s are looking attractive - apart from the price!

But you may have to look at camber adjuster and arch rolling if you decide to lower on springs or coils...

you'll find people running anywhere up to 275/30/19 front, and 305/30/19 rear

 

my own car, 19x9, 19x10, I run 265/30/19 front, 285/30/19 rear

 

remember, the # on the sidewall really is inconsquential, it's about how much tire hits the ground (ie contact patch). Tires are like shirts - not all 275/30/19, for example, will share the same physical dimensions

I have PS2's on the same width of alloys. Running 255/35/19 on the front, 285/35/19 rear. I used to have 275/35/19 rear, but like these 285's better. Also the PS2's come out similar to one size wider of different brand of tires. So mine look like 295's .
