SI 1 SFB Posted May 27, 2009 Share Posted May 27, 2009 I have a 313bhp 07 plate and have noticed lately that when the engine is cold it is idling at 2000 revs for the first mile or two, then when the engine is hot it will run anywhere between 700 -1100 at idle, is this a characteristic or is there a problem looming?? rtbiscuit Posted April 9, 2010 Share Posted April 9, 2010 mine idles at about 500 at the moment, but my drive to work is so short, i don't tend to notice the idle once i pull away. plus its in a garage over night, it doesn't get that cold.
